Our client is a big multinational employer in the area of gas and Oil.

Role description

Responsibilities:

– Responsible for tax compliance for finance and holding companies
– Knowledge of EU VAT and transfer pricing rules
– Manage, coordinate and control tax services provided by the consultants and in-house
– Responsible for the processes, guidelines and procedures related to the tax service
– Responsible for the coordination of tax consultants work
– Stick to deadlines for submitting of CIT returns and other taxes relevant for the clients
– Following new legislation which might be relevant for the clients
– Ensure a robust and effective internal control and governance based on the framework
– Identify and implement continuous improvement across the functions
– Building relationships and interacting with partners to provide excellent planning, consulting and expertise
– Research of various federal, international, state and local income tax issues
– Participation in transition projects as assigned

Requirements:

– Accounting education or proven knowledge (IFRS, statutory reporting)
– 3+ years of experience in taxes preferably in B4
– ACCA/CPA qualification
– Excellent English – spoken and written, Russian is a strong asset
– Business knowledge (finance companies, holdings)
– Process knowledge (best practices)
– Analytical skills
– Economic insight and thinking
– Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel
– Leadership and management skills
– High level of internal integrity
– Ability to make decisions (according to limitations of authority)
– Good communication and interpersonal skills
