Our client is a very successful company in ETF investments preparing a new e-commerce platform for investments.

Role description

We are opening the position of Country Manager starting January 1st 2021.
As Country Manager, the main responsibilities conclude:
• Building and leading our clients online retail ETF investment project in Poland with complete responsibilities for both sales and operational part, supported from the company Board and Headquarters team (based in Slovakia)
• Managing Polish territory to generate sales and revenue to meet objectives
• Co-creating and implementing strategy for the project direction
• Participating with the Board of the company in developing a vision and strategic plan
• Maintaining knowledge of industry related topics and maintain proficiencies in delivering value-added presentations to advisor and other audiences (actively contributing through blogs, webinars and podcasts,communicate the investment portfolio updates and the financial markets situation)
• Educating, training and interacting with partners to enhance awareness of the ETF online offerings
• Ensuring the operation of the Polish company meets the expectations of its clients and Board
• Overseeing the efficient and effective day-to-day sales operation
• Cooperating with the existing international sales force

We are looking for the following skills and qualities:
• An extensive background in the ETF area, with a high level of knowledge around capital markets, investing and asset allocation issues
• 5+ years of experience in a field consulting/sales role within the investment industry
• 5+ years ETF related experience within either a sales, product, or investment role
• Bachelor’s degree required, MBA and/or CFA preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Self-driven with ability to build manage key internal and external relationships
• Experience developing and implementing sales and marketing business plans
• Strong investment acumen and background
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
Compensation plan will consists of the following:
• Fixed income: market standard
• Variable income/profit share: based on the internal discussion and agreement
