Prague coworking spaces

Whether you are an independent professional or you often work remotely, finding a suitable place to sit and concentrate is not always easy.

Working from home certainly has its own benefits, but it is doesn’t suit everyone. Maintaining focus and not getting distracted by life admin can prove difficult. In addition, spending too much time at home can start to make you feel isolated and cooped up, and soon you can be looking for any excuse to escape. But if not at home then where can you concentrate and work quietly?

Coworking is a modern way of sharing a workspace, and providing a ‘hub’ for today’s professionals. People (freelancers, independent professionals, start-up entrepreneurs, etc.) share a communal work space, either with their own desk, a seat at a large communal table, or multiple other arrangements. Working in a coworking space can provide a number of benefits, including: giving you a place to focus on work, the ability to network with similar professionals, meet new friends and promote your business, to name a few. All of this in a relaxed, inclusive environment.

Coworking centres have existed since the late 80s, but have recently grown in popularity. The co-work space market in Czech Republic has mushroomed over the last decade, with the biggest concentration naturally being in Prague and Brno. A number of different concepts and solutions exist, but how does it work? Come and try it for yourself and see what suits you.  If coworking is your thing, different ventures offer the option of both monthly (quarterly and annual) prepaid membership as well as daily payment on the spot. So, what co-work spaces are available in your local area?
